I’ve been living in my hometown for almost twenty years now and I didn’t know about this place… Metepec! Located on top of a hill about 30km to the northeast of Tulancingo, on the slopes of East Sierra Madre. No big churches or crowded plazas here just dusty narrow streets and a small quite picturesque chapel atop of the hill from where all we must do is enjoy amazing views of the lagoon. Best thing about it? …no tourists at all! Awesome, isn’t it?
